Atlantic Ambulance Golf Outing Raises Funds Towards Isolette
October 24, 2007 - Close to 75 golfers enjoyed a laid back day at Black Bear Golf Club in Hamburg, NJ to raise money towards the purchase of an isolette for Atlantic Air One. An isolette is a very critical piece of equipment necessary to care for our tiniest patients who need an environment in which their individual requirements can be given every attention.
Isolettes provide safe, warm environments and protect babies from drafts, noise, infection and excessive handling. A lightweight, specially made isolette is needed by our highly trained medical professionals for transporting these patients while in Atlantic Air One.
Nearly $10,000 was raised towards this piece of equipment which has a total cost of $75,000. We wish to thank all participants and sponsors who helped us come closer to our goal. Through their generosity, the smallest members of our community have the chance to get the care they require to survive air transport, reaching a facility where they can grow and thrive.
